This week’s night sky, September 4–13, offers striking celestial events and clear views of seasonal constellations. Venus and Spica, just past conjunction, descend in the west, while Altair and Sagitta guide observers to the Dumbbell Nebula (M27). Vega and Deneb cross the zenith in early evenings, signaling late-summer skies, and moonless nights provide excellent Milky Way viewing. The crescent Moon makes close approaches to Jupiter and Regulus around the 8th–9th and returns at dusk by the 13th.
