Peak fall foliage is currently on full display across Vermont, upstate New York, New Hampshire, and northern Maine, with ideal weather expected for leaf-peeping this weekend. Cooler, drier conditions will create crisp, vibrant views in northern New England, while the southern Appalachians remain in early color stages, with rain and wind potentially impacting viewing. Peak colors are also emerging in northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and parts of Colorado’s Rockies. While some Midwest areas may see wet and gusty weather, the season is progressing steadily, with colors expected to spread southward and into lower elevations throughout October. https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/fall-foliage-update-peak-colors-on-full-display-in-vermont-upstate-new-york/1941430
